TEXTURED COTTON DISHCLOTH (UK terms)

Yarn: 50g 100% cotton DK. Hook: 4.5mm. Finished size approx 22cm x 22cm.
Abbreviations: ch = chain, dc = double crochet (US sc), tr = treble (US dc), st = stitch

Foundation: Ch 31.
Row 1: Dc in 2nd ch from hook, *tr in next ch, dc in next ch* repeat to end. (30 sts) Ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Dc in first st, *tr in next st, dc in next st* repeat to end. Ch 1, turn.
Rows 3-26: Repeat Row 2. Each dc sits on a tr and each tr on a dc.
Border (optional): Do not turn. Work dc evenly around all four edges with 3 dc in each corner. Sl st to first dc, fasten off, weave in ends.
Hanging loop (optional): Before fastening off, ch 12, sl st into same corner.

Care: machine wash warm, tumble dry low or air dry.
